Obituary for Mr Poses Mill in Coonamble district

Mr Poses Mill aged TH died at his home Kirkcaldie Coonamble on March 11 after long service with the Coonamble district. Born 1850 at Merrygoay he lived across Clarence River and Guzerava districts before settling at Morning Idle. Survived by widow and six children Rate Armatree Brie Kelr, he was a respected sheep farmer and church worker with Presbyterian ties at Gulargambone and Coonamble. interment at Loonamble cemetery conducted by Rev. R F Witinnsson.

Curban Rifle Club opens 1937 season with small turnout

Curban Rifle Club held the opening shoot at the BOD yards with eleven members participating in two stores and two fighters allowed at each. The annual meeting was adjourned until next weekend and attendance was required from all members. Weather was good and shooters logged scores led by Nalder and Mackey.
