Mr A C Dawes told the Gilgandra P and A Association that a letter from Orange Show secretary Mr Williams offered to cover all expenses for a Clydesdale group to travel to the Orange Show. He cannot go and hopes another district owner will take the team. Williams visited Gilgandra and was surprised by the Clydesdales on display at the last show.

Gilgandra A grade and B grade teams played on Sunday with Gilgandra A winning all three rinks in the afternoon after Wellington’s stronger B team had hoped for an upset.
