The Sunday Scout meeting on the 15th drew large crowds across centres, with Warromine’s parade at the Methodist Church drawing about 40 boys. The District Scoutmaster visited Coonamble Thursday night to meet boys, officers, and committee members, urging timely payment of six months’ dues and the end of the month quarter. Trangie’s newly formed troop will be invested March 27 with eight scouts forming the patrol. Scout master Arnot and assistant Roger Waugh continue to guide, with Trangie poised to become a top district centre.
