The Light Horse Troop finished a four day Wivauar drill period on Sunday afternoon with focus on patrols kit inspection and tactical exercises. Training films plus lectures covered cavalry bridge building and artillery cooperation. Trooper M McLennan won 10 shillings for best kit while the adjutant praised rifle inspection. Col. Barton and Capt. Whitlock observed, and the CO hailed the troop’s performance before reorganizing squadrons signing No 1 Troop.
