A young mother John Albert Barnes, a stranger to the Jows, was charged at Gilgandre Police Court on Tuesday before Mr RB G Cookson with attempting to steal 15 from Thomas Horas. The defendant pleaded not guilty and was remanded for eight days to January 17 with sureties of £10 each.
