Obituary of Mrs Anna Thorothea Linke at Milldale
The death occurred at Private Hospital on the morning of August. Mrs Anna Thorothea Linke wife of the late John Linke aged years, survived by two sons and two daughters all of Milldale. She fell four weeks earlier and entered hospital a week later. Born in Slem Bremer South Australia she moved with family from Murrey Flos to Victoria Grand 10 TATA later. Funeral held Friday at the Lutheran section of Gulgandra Cemetery with Rev Miller. Mortuary arrangements by A H Rev.

Christmas Race Dates Approved By Gilgandra Jockey Club
At the annual meeting of members in the Memorial Institute the Gilgandra Jockey Club applied for December 26 and 27 as race dates for the club’s annual meeting. Committee members present included Townsend Gould Garlick Krohn Murray and Fleming. The balance sheet showed £76 handed to the Red Cross and it was agreed to seek December 25 and 27 dates. Townsend announced delegates to the C W U D R A meeting and a decision to defer allocation of race proceeds to a future meeting. Membership fee fixed at 18.
