Residents mourn the death of Mr Frederick Fardon at 73 after a fall from a horse and subsequent pneumonia. A long-time share farmer for Messrs Monk and O'Connor, he planned to start his own venture with nephew Jack Pardon on Buddsh Park. Survived by a widow and nephew, his funeral was held in Gilgandra with Rev. F. Dryden officiating and large local attendance.
