Pentecost ceremony at Presentation Convent Chapel
On May 19 Pentecost Sunday a notable ceremony of clothing or reception took place in the Chapel of the Presentation Convent. Miss Rose Connor, daughter of the late Inspector Connor and Mrs. Connor of Albany, led a procession of school children in white. The postulant, Rev Mother, and assistant discussed vows, then the ceremony continued with a sermon and changing into the garb of the Presentation Order. Sacred music by the choir accompanied the rites.
