Police Court Derailing Case Involving Boys On Wharf
In a police court session, 15 year old Edward Hackett faced charges of unlawfully moving trucks on the railway wharf on December 14, causing an engine and tender to derail. Testimonies described trucks shifted by wind and unknown youths, with several boys observed nearby. The bench found Hackett and others guilty, ordering six months good conduct with surety and costs. the case against George Ingledon to be heard next week.
