Cyprus death rate steady at eight and a half per thousand

Birth rate is about 32 to 33 per 1,000, far below Britain 14-1, 41, and the United States 24-4. Reduction in infant mortality credited to rural living standards, maternal infant welfare education, and notably malaria eradication campaigns.
