Fremantle Tragedy Two Girls Narrow Escapes
In Fremantle Frederick Henry Vallance and his son in law’s home hosted a near tragedy. Vallance aged 45, an orchardist from near Albany, was found dead with a revolver involved after a dramatic scene on a verandah. Two granddaughters Violet twelve and Hazel eleven sheltered as Vallance attempted to shoot, a blast failed to end them. Police investigated and an inquest was ordered.
