June 9 at Kruenton an aeroplane crash killed Kathleen Chat of Koorso cheang Station and seriously injured her brother John Charieson. The craft left Chariewa homestead noon bound for Melbourne with pilot John Charleson. A sister’s attempt to join ended with the mother’s concern about weight. after a rise the engine stalled and the machine dived. Charleson survived with a fractured arm and rib.
