An old advertisement promotes Kraschen Salts as a fat reducing product used by generations of fat people. It claims daily weight loss after about a fortnight with an indoor routine and promises the salts are sold by chemists and stores at 2 shillings and 9 pence per bottle.
Council Chambers hear proposals to recognize Mr Willcock with a grandfather clock and fundraising to aid a town fund. Representatives from ALP Doraklion District, Railway Officers Association, and other groups back the plan while a town hall event is planned with speeches and a quiet evening of events.
