Regulations enforce tick control on coastal sheep stations in South-West Division. Owners must dip all sheep between October and December or as extended by inspectors, with penalties up to twenty pounds for noncompliance. Inspectors may grant extensions, order immediate dipping, and prohibit sale or movement of affected stock until compliance.

Advances are made under section 28 of The Agricultural Bank Act, 1906, for ringbarking clearing draining water conservation and other farm improvements. Eligible holdings include simple or Special Occupation Lease holdings and homestead farms. Advances up to 2000 pounds for full value of improvements or 200 pounds for half of additional improvements, with limits on total loan to 500 pounds per borrower. Applications must use Bank forms with a 1 percent valuation fee. Repayment over six years, 5 percent interest per annum, semiannual. Mortgages incur stamp duty and registration fees. security must be in place before possession.
