In a cricket report the Districts C.03 Mac Copnsry Club was eliminated after the first round. The club has now won the premiership twice in succession and honors were presented by F. Gibson of Geraldton for the premiership trophy.

John M Hopkins and Co report a successful sale of stock and land at the W A Stock Bazaar held last Saturday the 19th. Buyers attended for all horse classes with prices ranging from £8 to £60 for heavy draughts and upstanding nags, and pony prices from £4 15s to £8. He notes sale of Mr. Claire's 4134 acre estate at Goomalling with stock and implements and a line of backward springers at £8 15s per head. Heifers are inquired for and good ewes remain undersupplied.
The Irwin Roads Board held a special meeting at the Courthouse in Dongarra to hear the Midland Railway Company appeal against the rate value on their tunneled land. No one appeared for the company and the case was struck off the list.
