Last week W A SneN shipped 12 tons of copper for copper claim from Miso cathurrd to Vis Mralia. Two men seized the consignniat, valued around £7, and it was taken by two men. Graphite specimens were brought to Mesksthsrn by Mr Wed. Tegan, a known prospector, assisted by the Mines Department, with Regan surveying near Skt Gould. The graphitic outcrop extends about ten chains, with a width of an unknown measure. The government pays £1 per ton of marketable graphite, quoted at £23 per ton. Mr J gan has 46 acres.
