The Honorary Minister in charge of the wheat scheme Mr Baxter returned to Perth and discussed with a West Australian reporter matters on advances to farmers for 1615 11 and 1916 17 certificates. He said no further advances until year end when the Imperial contract is taken over by Britain. Dividends depend on harvest results and may not be ready before March next year. For 2017 18 harvest arrangements with the Commonwealth would provide about 15 million pounds to enable 3d per bushel at sidings.
