Forces move as king departs and new liquor law enacted
The Grand Chancellor travels to the capital as the king plans a journey. The Permanent Council meets daily to finalize affairs before the monarch’s departure. A new constitution imposes duties on liquor published yesterday. Reports note Russian troop orders and Proffians enforcing port cargo loads, prompting burghers to resist. Violation fears rise along Transylvanian frontiers with Roshan deserters. Count de Mallebois heads to Spain while Beaumarchais travels to England on royal orders.
