In Chalfont Hants on a Wednesday night two farm servants quarreled over a young woman and agreed to a duel by match. One struck the other with great force, crushing his arm and head against a stone, causing his death before help arrived. Also reported, a dreadful hurricane near Bawtry yesterday morning brought lightning and rain and caused damage.
