Murder Charge After Struggle in Hexham District

A man travelling to Hexham was accosted by a stranger claiming a young man killed an old man. They found the elderly man Gil bert Gibson dead. The suspect was pursued and brought before John Tweddle Esquire, who committed him to Morpeth gaol.
