Royal appointments in British infantry and dragoons

War Office announces July 15 changes in colonelcies. General John Waldegrave named Colonel of the Cold Stream Guards, succeeding Field-Marshal Lord Tyrawley who is defeated. Lieutenant General George Townshend becomes Colonel of the Queen's Dragoon Guards, replacing the Earl Walde. Lieutenant General Edward becomes Governor of Posmd and takes Tyrawley’s place.

Db2ISTOL July 9 1773 notes prices and sales for bread rice ground rice and flour with low rates to aid the poor. Bread to be prepared for many at eight pounds per shilling at multiple places, rice sold amid ground rice dressed and sold at two pence halfpenny per pound, various grains priced, flour and paste flour shop sales detailed, rice barrels offered at seven shillings each.
