Military promotions and naval court updates 1790 records

A dated list from 1789 to 1799 shows William Elliot Orton to be Lieutenant, Foster Charlton to Captain Lieutenant, and other officers promoted or appointed in various regiments by purchase or without. Also listed are Cornet Richard Isaac Starkie, George Graves, and George Wimbolt receiving commissions, plus adjutants and major appointments in multiple regiments. Returns of corn and grain and bankrupts follow, with surrender and dividend notices, and a Vienna dispatch noting possible peace preliminaries and Austrian couriers to Marshal Laudohn.

Royal Visit and Parliamentary Sitings Reported

Yesterday noon their Majesties and the Princesses Royal attended divine service at the Chapel Royal Windsor then dined at the Queen's Lodge and walked in the afternoon the Verrate.
