Resolutions delivered to King from City of London
Sheriffs with the City Remembrancer went to St James's to place the Revolutions of the Common Fall and the Common Hall papers into the King's hands. Lord Rochford sought to view them but was refused. Plomer presented the resolutions in the King’s presence while the Mayor Aldermen and Livery waited in Common Hall. If the Common Hall remonstrances reach Parliament, a lasting divergence is foretold.
