A Philadelphia letter from November 17 describes four men arriving in town from Pittsburgh. It states Lord Dusmore held a meeting with the Indians and demanded restoration of a public person and loot taken from the frontiers, without further demands.
Fragmentary list of ships and destinations showing outward-bound East Indiamen to Grenada Jamaica Barbados and Dublin, and arrivals at Genoa Dublin Plymouth and Capes. Mentions Albion Hortely Neptune Minerva London ships with crews from Virginia Maryland Scotland and Ireland, plus several port calls and routes.
The letter from the Yorx Gazette argues that no troops fired on Boston or harmed private property. It describes peaceful relations, notes only destruction of items bought for royal use, and counters accusations of hostile acts. It also mentions French affairs, church reforms, naval orders, and local crime reports from London and dockyard news.
