Kings Who Govern With Moderation and Goodness
To the Editor of the General Event at Post. Here is nothing gives me a prettier pleasure than reviewing the lives of those Kings who governed with moderation equity and goodness and secured their people's natural rights and liberties. Alfred the Great was just learned religious and loved by his subjects. He established juries to prevent oppression by the rich and great and promoted arts and sciences. Gustavus Erikson of Sweden studied to benefit his people and rectify grievances. Unlike arbitrary rulers they served the good of their subjects and saw themselves as raised by God to make them happy. Happy are the people that have such a King. Yours, a constant reader.
