The Prince's Arrest and Transport to Vincennes
The government, weary of delays, ordered the arrest of the Prince. He was seized near the Opera House by disguised guards, yielded his sword, and was moved by private route to Vincennes. From there he is expected to be taken to Marseilles for transport to Civita Vecchia, with adherents also detained. The event occurred without noise and a detachment remained to investigate motives.
