Liverpoo l Nov 28 A captain stranded with his crew after a violent tempest. The Thetis from Leith was driven onto rocks. crew freed the ship, then limped into port. Captain Duncan of the Robert and Mary faced accusations of cruelty to shipwrecked sailors, denying them rations and attempting to prevent their salvage.
