St Patrick’s Fremantle Parish Church History
Fremantle’s St Patrick’s Church, built from Cottesloe stone with Sydney freestone details, opened in June 1894. Under ObL reform, Rev Father Ryan and successors oversaw construction, vere BenonicPioneers, later towers and turret work, and warded parishes with chaplaincies to prisons and homes. Rottnest Island served seasonally by Fremantle clergy.
