Fremantle Sailing Club Gala Opens New Clubhouse
Last Saturday evening the Fremantle Sailing Club held a gala night to open its new clubhouse and observe the annual smoke social. The Mayor John Cooke, Captain Potter, W H Kitson, and club patron F E Gibson attended with Major Dobson and Commodore the Hon. H Coates honored for bravery by W E Wray. trophies were awarded to J Cooper, W Berteaux, and J Bateman, with retiring secretary M P Leach acknowledged and successor W Paddon introduced.
