General meeting of the Returned Maimed and Limbless Men's Association held November 12 1925 at the Hostel West Perth presided by Mr J Campbell. Death of member Mr Westbrook noted with condolence sent. Ladies Auxiliars to visit Mrs Westbrook. Secretary reported Art Union distribution 150 tickets and expanded advertising. discussions over advertising duties and duties of secretary. Motions sought to approach Tramways and State Ferries for better stops and facilities. Bowling club entries and galoshes purchase discussed. Art Union tickets raffled with proceeds split between organiser and appeal. Meeting adjourned.

Fremantle Club Shoots For Captain's Trophy Stage
Last Saturday Fremantle Club fired over the 500 yard range for the lth stage of the Captain's Trophy annus aggregate medal and usual club spoon. McKenzie scored a possible in the second stage and G W Revill a possible in the first stage. Both tied for top score off the rifle with a good 6 each, McKenzie gaining on count back and Revill chasing the spoon. First five gained trophies points. Next Saturday the club will shoot the 600 yards range for a further Campbell Cup stage. The draw for places will be at 145 p.m.

Hills Water Scheme Opens In Fremantle
The Hills Water Scheme was officially opened on Monday by Minister for Works A McCullunt who turned on the Kelmscott valve Neuse. Mayor Cooke urged Fremantle to be considered for supply but the minister stated Fremantle already received substantial water from the new source via Victoria Park and Applecrossview and would be independent of bore water by next winter.
