The St Valentine Social at the Town Hall, hosted by the Young People's Association of Christ Church, drew many attendees. A "Post Office" by J Moore handed out valentines while "Progressive Hearts" offered guest wishes on a debt souvenir. Music entertained guests throughout the evening.

Refreshments circulated then tables and chairs were moved for dancing led by joyous guests. Rev Tyner Mrs Tyner Miss Stout and many helpers received special praise for organizing the evening.
Old Timer Colin N Campbell Dies at 62
MacLeod mourns Colin N. Campbell once Clerk of Court after a brief illness. Eldest son of C J Campbell Badeck Nova Scotia he studied law in Halifax and set up practice before moving to Calgary and MacLeod in 1887. He died Wednesday at his home leaving a widow and many friends.
