Five boys competed for a W C T U medal at a well attended social evening in the Methodist Church. Performances included recitations by John Black Adrian LaFrance and Ewart Jaffary a Scotch duet by Miss Underwood and A Callie and songs by Mrs Powell. Police Veteran Dead After Long Service in Northwest
Percy Reginald Neale ex superintendant of the North West Mounted Police died at Winnipeg General Hospital after a illness last week at age 63. He joined the force in 1873 and served at Emerson Fort Macleod Battleford and Fort Macleod again before resigning in 1887. He later worked as a customs officer in Macleod before moving to Winnipeg. He was a prominent member of the A F and A M and his wife lives in Lethbridge.
