Western Oil & Coal plans pipe line to Macleod from oil lands

J B Ferguson of Western Oil & Coal Co says a large project is in contemplation to build a pipeline from the firm's oil property to Macleod in southwestern Alberta. The company has three wells on 16 000 acres near the international boundary, about 40 miles southwest of Macleod, with one producing twenty barrels daily and another driving toward oil rock. A $100 000 allocation will fund the line to Macleod, plus storage tanks and a refinery. The firm, organized in autumn 1903, traces to Vancouver Petroleum and has assets from two companies and a controlling interest in a third, with total capitalization of about $6 509 000.
