The plan includes growing fields of at least ten acres, circuit judging by approved specialists, and seed fairs in January or February with strict sampling and potential penalties for misleading entries. The Seed Branch would supply a judge, pay expenses, fund advertising, and host seed tastings, while provincial authorities would supply prize money and facilities.

The Great Floto Shows Prepare for Two Performances
The Floto Shows employ about 600 people with 36 department heads led by general manager Frank Tammen and 26 assistants. The circus runs its own dining rooms, blacksmith shop, private restaurant, and a 10 acre tented city with 800 horses. Five detectives secure the grounds as the outfit moves twice daily. Two performances are set for Monday September 11.

Oratorical Concert Draws Large Methodist Church Audience
A Tuesday evening audience at the Methodist Church enjoyed a silver medal contest with well rendered selections. Little Miss Cardiner and Bruce received praise for singing. Boys also performed well. No 1 missed his appearance. An October girls contest is planned with program notes listing performers and pieces.
