John McLean a horse dealer and farmer from Pincher Creek said in the city that his wheat should average forty five bushels to the acre with ninety bushels of oats and eighty to ninety bushels of barley. Attempted Murder Near Little Bow District

Early Monday a man named Fetterman was shot at his farm near the Little Bow river, thirty miles east of Nanton. Detective Piper and Corporal Deykin investigated from Claresholm with Mrs Fetterman reporting a dog whined before the shot. Doctors in Nanton and Calgary treated him. the bullet could not be found and may not be removable. Police hold unnamed clues and expect a rapide arrest.
