Annual Report of Lord Mayor's Patriotic and War Fund

The Second Annual Meeting reviewed receipts and expenditures with the president noting strong public support. The Ladies Auxiliary contributed woollens and parcel shipments while a new parcel program delivered comforts to overseas soldiers. Treasurer Clarence reported receipts exceeded last year by £102 with expenses £124 higher, listing contributions to the fund, Australia Day events, and various appeal drives.

Local Land Board Meets at Forbes November Seventh

A Local Land Board session for the Forbes Land District will convene at the Forbes Court Trowse on Friday November 7 at 10 am. It will reconsider numerous land grant and relief applications including special leases and extensions, and review parish commandant and ministerial references amid reports from the auxiliary staff and officers.
