Local events include a hospital fund dance in Royal Hall and new Ford vehicles for sale despite poor crop prospects.

Fire destroys Bundaburra homestead near Forbes
The historic Bundaburra Station homestead owned by Mr. Shaw Strickland was totally destroyed by fire on Monday night. Strickland returned home to see flames in the kitchen and, with staff, fought the blaze but could not save the building. The weatherboard house with iron roof and plaster ceiling was valued at £1500, contents insured for £500, windows £900, and the loss included many family possessions and numerous picnic race trophies.
