Dean Brennan preached and Father Solomon attended. the rest of the day saw the children hosted by the convent sisters with many parents present.
The C W D P S A A A annual gathering will attract 2000 children for a march past and 600 in a flag drill at Forbes showground on Wednesday. Special trains and motor transport will bring participants from Condabolin, Bogan Gate, Peak Hill, Parkes, Grenfell, Canowindra and Eugowra as education officials send best wishes.
