Municipal authorities invite tenders for coal transport from Forbes Hallway Station to the Council's Electricity Power Station. Details available at a specific office. The lowest tender will not necessarily be accepted. Submission date given as October 1940. Town Clerk.
Terms require 1 gal arriving by rail with approximate 144 ton weekly in two to three trucks. Contractor to monitor Forbes Station arrivals unload, stockpile, and cart coal to Power Station with prompt loading. Delays incur demurrage on contractor. trucks must be clean and unloaded near the power station. Tender for 12 months starting late November 1930.
