Obituary for Mrs Jane M'Kenzie of Forbes
Mrs Jane M'Kenzie died in Forbes after heart failure at the local hospital aged 82. Native of Glasgow, she and husband Robert M'Kenzie married at Evandale Tasmania eighty years ago and moved to Forbes thirty three years back where he managed Lake Cowal property. The couple, childless, were beloved in the district. Funeral at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church followed by interment after a morning service conducted by Rev. R S Cruikshank. the mourners and district friends attended in large numbers.
