Richard Brophy Obituary After 78 Years in Forbes District
Richard Brophy died yesterday at his Spring Street home in Forbes after a year with heart trouble. He was a former farmer at Carenhile who moved to Forbes 14 years ago. Survived by a widow and daughter Peggy, wife of Dr. McCann of Sydney. A generous church supporter who donated £400 for St Laurence's roof, funeral today at 4 pm to the local Roman Catholic cemetery with A H Williams & Co in charge.

Serious charge at Forbes Police Court remanded
