Forbes Friday Sheep Sale Sees Mixed Bidding Amid Road Delays
Largely desert type stock with more lambs and hoggets than ewes sold. A Sydney buyer and numerous local buyers competed as the sale opened, improving through the afternoon with prime heavy lambs and crossbreds achieving strong prices. Delays due to heavy roads affected transport and the sale was extended into Friday night.
