Forbes Municipal Council Meeting Notes and Public Works Update
The fortnightly Forbes council met with Aldermen present to review road issues, a new engine report, and financial approvals. The works department reported minor gun engine and pump upgrades while overdraft authorization was approved for 4000 pounds. Immigrant coordination and local road footpaths were discussed, with several holiday requests approved and a branch RSA consideration noted. Cattle and livestock impoundments were reported, alongside a test plan for new engine power. Public notices and local items were touched on, with a brief diarrhetic advertisement at the end.
