Men plead guilty to trespass at Club House Hotel premises
On Tuesday at the local Police Court, Wm Potter Kenneth McCarney Filey Huge Chrps Sanderson and O Bucklind pleaded guilty to being found on licensed premises of the Club House Hotel at 754 p m on Saturday June 5. Spectator O Connell said he warned the men as they went up the back stairs. None offered any excuse. Each was fined 10 shillings and costs. K Howlett pleaded guilty to allowing the run on the premises and was described as a former licensee of two hotels. The magistrate did not record the conviction and set a further action.
