A Forbes butter factory suffered a crash when a lorry collided with the Eugowra Mail vehicle. Authorities investigated the incident, with no serious injuries reported and workers continuing operations despite the collision.
Look Dohneon the Forbes-Eugowra mail man had a close miss yesterday morning when his lorry hit a strainer post while entering the Forbes butter factory yard. The vehicle was slowed to take the corner and the mudguard was damaged. the lorry was towed to town for repairs. The driver was unhurt but given treatment. In a later Small Debts court the case of L L Devts versus Ernest Helggan resulted in a verdict for 29 shillings and costs with payment terms set.
