Parkes aero drome land request before Forbes Board
A Parkes deputation led by F Spicer asked Forbes Board to lease part of the TBA land near the trucking yards for an aerodrome site. They argued aviation has future commercial importance and noted council and Defence Dept funding already spent. Graziers oppose using the land for stock routes. Board to inspect opposite-side land before ruling.
