Forbes court hears assault and theft charges among defendants

In Forbes Court yesterday O. Burke and Lan King faced assault charges with adjournments granted. Kendall and Hurrin were committed for trial on multiple counts including breaking into Forbes Railway Station and goods shed. Kendall pleaded guilty to stealing a railway key and was remanded for further trial details in February.

At the Licensing Court deferred licences for G A G Taines John B Reymond Forbes and William C Lees Eugowra were adjourned to March 4 for hearing by the New South Wales Liquor Licensing Court. Accident victim George Spencer shows improving condition

Tenancy Case In Police Court Over Premises Possession

Walter 8 Acorn appeared in the Police Court seeking possession under Section 30 of the National Security Regulations of premises owned by Mr Jack Sly and occupied by T Drane. Mr R Palmer represented the owner while Moloney and Wu Koes represented the occupant. After hearing evidence the magistrate Mr Cobley refused the application.
