Forbes District Hospital finances show net credit across funds
At a Tuesday directors meeting Treasurer Pooley reported combined funds including the X-ray and industrial schemes in credit, despite a general account deficit. Revenue from subscriptions and patients plus government payment left the No 2 scheme in credit and the X-ray account also positive. The board approved a £550 9s 3d payment, with £50 from the X-ray fund to be paid to W Frederick and future earnings sent monthly. The contribution scheme grew to 1313 subscribers. after receipts and disbursements the fund stood in credit. The finance committee flagged potential recovery actions for nonpayers, while a carnival in Templar Street planned for tomorrow and Christmas Eve aimed to boost support for the hospital and Ambulance service.
