Forbes Dairy Competition Winners Announced
The Forbes Dairy Society judged the annual farmer contest with Mr T J Readburn of Forbes taking first prize for production under the Department of Agriculture. He scored 46 points and produced 10 560 gallons, winning £40. Second prize went to H J Mackenzie of Goolagong, who earned £20. Results for the period ended June 9 146 will be published next week.

Mrs Martha Rogerson widow of William J Rogerson died Monday night at her Ferrand Street home aged 87. She lived after a hip fracture six months ago and had eleven children with four sons and one daughter predeceasing her. Survived by sons Robert and Frederick and four daughters Mrs Corbett Mrs Fadden Miss M Rogerson and Miss E Rogerson. Funeral Wednesday at the Presbyterian cemetery with Rev B Stanley Parsons officiating.
