Condobolin exhibit tops a great 1927 show
The Condobolin P A Association reports one of its best shows ever with ideal weather, large crowds, high gate takings and strong membership. Jockey Allan Angus died after a skull fracture from a second day fall as the Condobolin Jockey Club held races amid a busy program. Murderous accidents and local obituaries are noted alongside visits by E Buttenshaw MLA and Earle Page’s wife to the area.
